Crabyon

It is a yarn made from fiber cellulose plant, modified by the addition of a derivative obtained by trasformation of the leather part (shell or “Carp”) of Crabs, Lobsters and Squids. The scientific name of this natural substance is “Chitin/Chitosan”, not industrially obtainable from synthesized molecules, but only through the crushing and subsequent processing of crustacean shells from the food industry.

The Chitin/Chitosan is a nontoxic substance, eatable, which is widely used by the pharmaceutical industry, with properties tested and widely described in the literature:

• Absorption of heavy metals: It absorbs and removes radioactive substance
• Antibacterial activity: It inhibits the growth of bacteria
• Immunization: It increases immunization of human diseases
• Activation of natural responses: It accelerates the healing of wounds
• Cellular reconstruction: It accelerates the regeneration of tissues

Effectiveness over time of the antibacterial function.

The active Chitin/Chitosan is embedded in the fiber: the antibacterial function is then unchanged after washing or abrasion from external agents, the fabrics remain fresh and free from odors for a long time. Crabyon is a permanent antibacterial active with totally natural ingredient.

Protection for sensitive or delicate skin.

The Crabyon prevents dehydration of the skin: its ability to maintain the humidity level is higher than any other cellulosic fiber. It also prevents irritation, and is therefore safe and comfortable, even for people with weak or hypersensitive skin, as children and old hospitalized people.

Conservation of bio-natural system.

The Chitin/Chitosan (through activation of the lysozyme) is a natural organic substance, essential for the conservation of Earth’s biosystem. The Crabyon was also developed with the pourpose of making the best use of this natural resource.
